Dr. D Ravisankar

Dr. D. Ravisankar serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Crop Management at PGP College of Agricultural Sciences. With specialization in Weed Management and Integrated Farming Systems, he brings a strong blend of academic, research, and administrative expertise. He has authored over 50 scholarly contributions, including 17 research articles, 5 books, 7 book chapters, 33 abstracts and research summaries. He has also received notable awards for his Ph.D. thesis and research excellence. Dr. Ravisankar teaches core Agronomy subjects and actively contributes to curriculum development, promoting sustainable agriculture and modern farming practices through both classroom instruction and applied research initiatives.
