The college is having an instructional farm area of 37.5 acres (ha). For Which field crops viz., paddy, maize, black gram, green gram and horticultural crops viz., chillies, brinjal, bhendi, gourds and greens etc. are grown under irrigated condition. Rainfed crops viz. Pearl millet, Thenai, Kuthiraivali and Horse gram are cultivated during rainy season. SRI and Conventional method of paddy cultivation are established and demonstrated to the students. Fodder crops viz., Cumbu Napier grass and Desmanthus are maintained for milch animals.
